The following sources have been found to be greatly helpful in understanding our family lineage;

The Church Of Later Day Saints- http://www.familysearch.org; many sources of information,
including birth, marriage and death records. The records are available for observation at many Family
History Centers in just about any city in America. Also, the search feature for locating towns by name
is very helpful.

Ancestry- http://www.ancestry.com; Immigration and census records are available, online. Many
databases are available for genealogical research. This website is not free, but many libraries subscribe
to this service and usage is free to people living in the area.

Ellis Island Immingration Records- http://www.ellisislandrecords.org; immigration records from 1892
to present are available for download to your computer. Ship manifests are very helpful in locating
towns-of-origin of our ancesters.

Missing Ship Manifests- http://www.stevemorse.com; great source of missing manifests.

Cyndis List- http://www.cyndislist.com; fantastic list of links to many genealogical sources.

Family Tree Magazine- http://www.familytreemagazine.com; many helpful ideas.

Fallingrain- http://www.fallingrain.com/world/; great gazeteer, look up any town on the earth, find
longitude and lattitude.

Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International- http://www.cgsi.org; an insight into Slovak life.

Arcanum- http://www.arcanum.com; all in hungarian. many early records.

Latin Translator Download (free)-http://www.erols.com/whitacre/words.htm; best latin translator I
have ever seen. It's free, but send the guy $10 bucks anyway!

Grissak Autobiography- http://www.saed.kent.edu/~lucak/topica/Grisak.pdf; Fascinating
autobiography of a man named Grissak who was born about 30 miles south of Ruzback, in the 1880s.
The autobiography give an idea what the slovak life was like.

A Banyavidek- Kempelen Farkas Digitális Tankönyvtár; Kemplen digital textbook download. Many
pictures drawn by artist Lovcanyi Gyulatol. A Banyavidek means the mining area near Ruzbach. The
drawings give an idea what the area looked like in the late 1880s. See the drawing above.
