The Future

There are many possible directions to take in the future. It makes sense to find out what efforts that the Mormons are making in microfilming early Slovak records. There are three possible sources of records in Slovakia; 1) National Archives in Bratislava, 2) Church Archives in Stara Lubovna and 3) Spiska Kapitula Archives in the monastery east of Levoca. All three directions require a fluency in the Slovak language. I am presently learning Slovak. A trip to the area would be productive. Just to get more pictures would be helpful. A face-to-face conversation with the archivists at the Stara Lubovna Castle Museum (Lubovniansky Hrad) and Spiska Kapitula would be illuminating. The problem now is to find out where the earlier records are in order to become aware of their status.
